Bill Payment

The Cowichan Bay Waterworks District offers a variety of payment options. Choose the option that best suits your needs.

Payment By Mail

If paying by cheque through the mail, please send your remittance portion of the bill. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five business days before the due date specified on your bill.

At the Office

You may pay your bill in person at the office by cash, cheque, or debit card. Hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.  We are located at 1760 Pavenham Road.  There is a mail slot in our Front Door if you come by outside of office hours.

Online Payment 

Bills may be paid via an online bill payment service provider (through your bank's website) with CIBC, RBC, Scotia Bank, BMO, Credit Unions, HSBC, and TD Canada Trust, etc.

When paying ONLINE be sure to choose "COWICHAN BAY WATERWORKS DISTRICT" and not CVRD or the Province of BC as the 'Payee".

You can 'nickname' your payee with your bill payment provider to ensure you choose the correct payee in the future, for example: 'water'.

eBILLED Invoices 

You have the option of receiving your Quarterly Water Invoice via email.  Go to the 'FORMS' section under 'Customer Service' and complete the Customer eBilling Request Form.  Once completed, please return the form by mail, in-person, or via email to finance2@cowichanbaywater.com

Rental with a Tenant?

If you have a Tenant and you wish for the Tenant to receive the Water Invoice, go to the 'FORMS' section under 'Customer Service' and complete the Tenant Billing Authorization Request Form.  Once completed, please return the form by mail, in-person, or via email to finance2@cowichanbaywater.com
