The Cowichan Bay Waterworks District (CBWD) is gearing up for our next major infrastructure project: the watermain replacement on Cowichan Bay Road. Replacing this watermain is a vital step in ensuring the long-term reliability of our water system, with construction anticipated to start in mid-to-late September. We are fully committed to minimizing disruptions for our residential and commercial neighbors throughout the project. To ensure everyone is well-informed, Board members will be going door-to-door to every water user in the immediate area with details on the construction schedule and what to expect.
