Mark your calendars for a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday, Nov 29 at 730 pm at the Gym [use side entrance] at Bench School, 1500 Cowichan Bay Rd.
Topics to be discussed will include 2024 drafts for the budget, water toll rates, tax rates, the 5 year capital expenditure plan, Master Plan and Action Plan implementation, and the commercial user water conservation program.
The agenda will be available the week before the meeting.
For Reference purposes, review the Master Plan, Action Plan, Source Water Protection Plan, Letters Patent, Financial Statements, Board Minutes, AGM Reports and Minutes. A comparison package of water and tax rates from other local jurisdicitons will also be available.
